Jacqueline & Walker Engagement Session at Anderson Hill Park in Victoria BC

Jacqueline and Walker’s engagement session in Victoria BC started with a pretty incredible surprise.
Walker planned the entire day without Jacqueline knowing what was coming. They travelled together from Seattle Washington to Victoria BC, and he had arranged a private picnic at Beacon Hill Park earlier in the day where he popped the question. It was an intimate and meaningful moment surrounded by nature, and the perfect way to start their engagement story in Victoria.
Later that same day, we met up again for their engagement photos at Anderson Hill Park.
The shift from the excitement of the proposal to a calm, relaxed coastal session made everything feel even more special. Anderson Hill Park was the perfect setting for their engagement session in Victoria BC, with its ocean views, rugged coastline, and soft evening light that makes everything feel natural and cinematic.
The session itself was easy and grounded. These two were still taking in everything that had happened earlier in the day, and it gave the whole evening a really genuine, emotional energy. We spent time walking along the coastline, pausing for quiet moments, and capturing a mix of candid and romantic engagement photos.
What made this day even more meaningful was how intentional the whole experience was. From the surprise picnic proposal to the engagement session later that day, every part was planned so they could simply enjoy being together and celebrate the moment.
