Julie & Angie Emotional Spring Wedding at Ocean Pointe Resort

When Julie reached out to me about photographing her wedding, I felt an immediate sense of joy and honor. Julie is the mom of one of my childhood best friends, so being invited to capture such an important day in her life felt truly special. Their wedding took place here in beautiful Victoria BC at the Ocean Pointe Resort, a stunning venue right on the water that perfectly matched the calm and intimate vibe of their day.

This celebration was held during the ongoing challenges of Covid, which meant there were some necessary restrictions to keep everyone safe. While the guest list was smaller and some traditional aspects had to be adapted, none of that took away from the deep love and connection between Julie and Angie. In fact, it made the moments we captured even more meaningful. Their commitment to each other shone brightly in every glance, laugh, and embrace.

It was clear from the start that this wedding was about more than just the event itself, it was about the beautiful life Julie and Angie are building together. I’m so grateful to have witnessed their joy, resilience, and authenticity. Despite the unusual circumstances, their day was filled with heartfelt moments, intentional details, and a love that was impossible to miss.
