Katerina and Tyler’s Nanoose Bay wedding was a heartfelt and unforgettable celebration that began in Parksville BC. The day started at Katerina’s grandparents’ home, where she got ready surrounded by family, making the morning feel extra meaningful and relaxed.
Once she was ready, Katerina shared a sweet and emotional first look with her dad, surrounded by loved ones. It was one of those moments where everyone in the room was tearing up, and such a beautiful way to begin the day.
From there, we headed to St. Mary the Protectress Ukrainian Orthodox Church for the ceremony. Out of respect for the private moments shared inside, I only included a few images, but it was a powerful and emotional ceremony filled with tradition and love. The church was completely full, with guests gathered in every available space to witness Katerina and Tyler say their vows.
After the ceremony, we stopped at a family friend’s property for a short break and some relaxed wedding party photos before heading to Rathtrevor Beach Park for couples portraits. The beach was calm and quiet, giving the two of them space to slow down and soak it all in together.
We then made our way to Nanoose Bay for the reception, where friends and family gathered to celebrate this Nanoose Bay wedding late into the evening. The space was beautifully set up, dinner was incredible, and the energy throughout the night was amazing.
With nearly 300 guests, the dance floor stayed packed and the celebration never slowed down. It was the perfect ending to a day filled with love, laughter, and meaningful moments.
Katerina and Tyler’s Nanoose Bay wedding was truly one for the books, from an emotional morning in Parksville to beachside portraits and a lively reception on Vancouver Island.
