Rebecca and Adam’s engagement session at Beacon Hill Park was such a joy to photograph. The park is one of my favourite spots in Victoria for a reason, it offers so much variety, from tall trees and winding paths to ocean views and open fields. Also, you can't forget about the many different types of wild birds that live here - score!
We spent the evening exploring all the quiet little corners of the park together, chasing soft light and stopping whenever something caught our eye. These two are so naturally affectionate and sweet with each other, and it really shows in every frame. You can tell they feel totally at ease together, the kind of love that feels like home.
Sessions like this remind me why I love what I do: being invited into a couple’s world, even for just a little while, to witness and document something real.
