Ri and Sage’s couples session at Colquitz Park was everything I love about photographing love stories in Victoria: natural, easygoing, and full of genuine connection. These two share such a sweet, gentle energy, and bringing their adorable pup along made the afternoon feel even more personal and playful.

Colquitz Park is such an underrated gem in the city. It has quiet trails, soft light through the trees, and enough space for pups to run and play without distraction. It was the perfect backdrop for Ri and Sage to just be themselves, whether that was cuddled up in the flowers, walking hand in hand, or laughing as their dog stole the show a few times.

Capturing queer love in all its forms means so much to me, and getting to witness the joy and comfort these two share felt like such a privilege.
