Sarah & Liam Engagement Session at Swan Lake Nature Sanctuary

Sarah and Liam’s engagement session took place at Swan Lake Nature Sanctuary in Victoria BC, one of my favourite spots for engagement photography in Victoria British Columbia. Swan Lake Nature Sanctuary is always such a peaceful place to photograph, with soft light, water reflections, and quiet trails that make it easy for couples to just relax and be themselves.

For this session, Sarah and Liam asked to keep their faces private, so the focus for this post is mostly on details, movement, and connection. Hands holding, walking through the trails, and all the small in between moments that still tell the full story. Even without traditional portraits, their connection was really easy to feel throughout the session. Nothing forced, just the two of them being together.

I am also so excited for their backyard wedding this October in Brentwood Bay BC. Brentwood Bay is going to be such a beautiful setting for it, and I cannot wait to photograph that next chapter for them.
