Carissa & Kanu Backyard Wedding in North Saanich

Carissa and Kanu’s summer backyard wedding in North Saanich was such a happy, easygoing day. They celebrated on Carissa’s grandparents’ gorgeous property with amazing views of the Saanich Inlet. The sun was shining, the breeze was perfect, and everyone was just there to have a good time.

Even though they were already married, this backyard wedding gave them a chance to share their love with friends and family in a really personal way. There was so much laughter, heartfelt speeches, and of course plenty of delicious food. People hung out under the trees, played games, and just enjoyed being together while celebrating Carissa and Kanu.

Walking down the aisle laughing together, stealing little moments with each other, and just enjoying the day made everything feel so genuine. Backyard weddings like this are special because they really reflect the couple and their personalities. You could feel all the care they put into making the day feel like home.
